Training and experience commensurate with needs of nature/
teva activities (outdoor education experience will be especially helpful).
Teaching experience in that activity area desired.
Strong enthusiasm for and broad-based knowledge of assigned
Ability to follow defined teaching requirements, developing own
methods of presentation to chanichim.
Work with the Trips/Teva Supervisor to create and
implement a program that highlights our unique opportunities to participate in
our environmentally rich backyard.
Integrate creative, educational content related to Jewish values
and outdoor education into the Teva program at camp.
Lead and coordinate activities for all age groups. Maintain
daily record of activity lesson plan.
When assigned, plan and lead age-appropriate unit evening
programs, incorporating your area(s) of expertise.
Be available for cabin activities as scheduled by supervisors.
Prepare and lead Shabbat afternoon activities.
Act as general resource for other Camp activities as they
aspire to role model and teach positive Jewish (and environmental)
values into the camp experience.
When time permits, participate in other Camp
